    1. Majordomo won't worked after I added the addresses. What gives? - Top

    The Majordomo lists won't work until someone subscribes through email. If the list is composed solely of members signed up through the webgui, Majordomo doesn't capture those addresses as list members until it rehashes after a subscription to the list via email to Majordomo.

    2. Where is the Majordomo config file located? - Top

    Each domain has its own configuration file. Its located in the etc directory and called majordomo.cf.

    Heres the full path:

    /home/virtual/userid/etc/majordomo.cf

    Each list also has a config file, located in the domains /var/lib/majordomo/lists the file will be
    the-list-name.config.

    3. What commands are available for Majordomo? - Top

    To get additional information you can send a email to majordomo@site name. You can send multiple commands in the body of the same email; however, the body of the email must contain only the commands.

    The following is a list of the more commonly used commands

    • help - Sends a email with detailed help.
    • info mailing-list-name - Sends information on when the mailing list was created or modified.
    • lists - Sends an email listing all the mailing lists in which you (or the address, if specified) have subscribed.
    • which email-address - Indicates the mailing lists in which you have subscribed.
    • who mailing-list-name - Indicates who is on the mailing list.
    • subscribe mailing-list-name email-address - Subscribes to the mailing list.
    • unsubscribe mailing-list-name - Unsubscribes your name from the mailing list.

    4. How do I set-up Majordomo? - Top

    In the Site Administrator:

    • Click on ‘Services’ on the left nav bar
    • Choose the ‘Majordomo Mailing List Server’ and click the pencil.
    • The Mailing List Manager will open up
    • Click the Create Mailing List button
    • Follow steps 1 through 7 to create your mailing lists
